Of films and lives

“ Instead of a happy ending, a realistic conclusion cannot be ignored for the rest. And in the eyes of some audience, is a vital part of the recipe for a film.

A beautifully done film or a tv show can take us to places that can only exist inside our heads, unable to meet the laws of physics in our world. Only through the power of our imaginations and fantasies can these otherworldly scenes stand. Of course, not every film has to be on a fairy tale land that came from our imaginations.
Taking the elements of our world, places that we have seen, sceneries we are familiar with can turn into works of art, through story-telling, and the hard work of a cast.
Films can take us to the medieval lands of Europe, a time long past. It can be brought to life, to be shown on a screen, watched by people in the present. Or, the slums of our own country, bringing the reality of our fellow countrymen to the rest of the people. Not only of our own, but our fellow people around the earth, the harsh reality they face, and the challenges they have to tackle day in and day out.
Happy endings are a staple on the silver screen. Bringing relief to the audience, as the main character gets rewarded for all his trials and tribulations. Watching along was the audience as they witnessed his journey and eventually his own happy ending.
Instead of a happy ending, a realistic conclusion cannot be ignored for the rest. And in the eyes of some audience, is a vital part of the recipe for a film.
The people behind such works of art, can only be called geniuses.
As for our own story and journey, we need not worry for a genius to direct our lives to the eventual happy ending. For the being above us is more than a genius. A genius is hard enough to follow, so a person’s life can hardly be understood or predicted by us mortal beings.
A character on a screen has to follow the script, wherever it may lead to, whether happiness or death. Through the thick bushes of a forest, or the harsh heat of a desert.
Our own scripts are not known to others, not to a director or another person. We can only act out what we can do, among them to live, breath and love. Love all the people we share this grand stage with and the stage itself. Act out love until we reach our own happy endings, or until the eventual word of the director, cut.**
