BONTOC, Mtn. Province – In a bid to promote the tourism industry of the province, the Provincial Tourism Office has spearheaded the launching of the competition for the composition of a Provincial Tourism Jingle.
The launching was made last September 27, 2021 during the Monday flag raising program which coincided with the commemoration of the Philippine Tourism Week held every last week of September every year.
Contest pieces should be submitted in video format containing video clips/photos of tourism products of the ten municipalities of the province. All photos/videos must be originals. Raw photos/videos must be submitted to confirm if it is not borrowed or taken from the internet; land yrics must be in English.
All participating entries for this contest must be submitted in USB drive with the names, address, and contact numbers of contestant/s to the Provincial Tourism Office on or before December 06. 2021.
Starting September 30, 2021, the submitted and to be submitted contest pieces will be aired or played over Radyo Natin and to be posted on the official FB page of the Provincial Tourism Office: @Mountain Province Provincial Tourism Office. All entries submitted are automatically owned by the Provincial Government of Mountain Province particularly the Provincial Tourism Office.
The general; public is encouraged to participate in the voting for the preferred contest piece by LIKING ONLY (OTHER REACTIONS WILL NOT BE COUNTED). The piece garnering the highest vote will have the highest audience vote.
On December 15, 2021, the judging will be conducted and the winner/s will be announced thereafter.
CRITERIA FOR JUDGING are Voice Quality – 20%; Lyrics – 30%; Video Quality – 15%; Artistic Presentation- 15%; and Audience Vote – 20%
Winners will be given P15,000 for the first prize; P10,000 for the second prize; and P5,000 for the third prize, plus certificates.
The guidelines for the contest states that the Provincial Toursim Jingle is in preparation for a full promotional video documentation of provincial tourism next year.** Roger Sacyaten
