Passion is a powerful emotion. One of our abilities that can give us strength and help us get through any situation. Like a fire it burns brightly and goes out of control very quickly, destroying any that stands in its path, ally or foe.
Passion in our jobs allow us to achieve greatness unreachable to those whose hearts does not align the same way.
Though not everyone is suited to what one goes through everyday, all our hearts are still capable of lighting on fire and burn a path that leads to glory.
Still, when fire is involved someone is bound to get burned. Passion within animals in particular only amplifies the already deadly instincts they hold within. Their teeth will sink deep on the unlucky being they set their sights on.
Mating season for dogs is a cycle that spills blood on the pavement. And it is not a fun experience separating your two dogs when one scores and the other is a sore loser.
They seemingly take after us in letting our emotions hurt those around us.
At the end of the day, our emotions cannot dominate over us and do the head’s job in making decisions. As fast as anger comes, they fade away just as quickly, leaving us alone to deal with whatever situation it put us in.
Passion and anger can easily fit together like hand on a glove but it can easily transform that hand into a fist upon someone’s face.
Living in a world where there are so many vices that can pervert a just passion, self control can be the perfect contrast to a very willing soul. The anchor to a ship that want to seek too much thrill across the wide ocean.
Proper discipline is not a trait so easily gained. But to keep our feet firmly on the ground, taking it step by step each day, the correct attitude unifies the body to work on reaching the ultimate goal.
A right head can only affect the rest positively. A positive soul can shield us from the needless doubt we inflict on ourselves and forces from the outside.
Passion out of control drives us from our original path and takes our eyes off the prize.
Self-discipline, in the end is what keeps us consistent in moving forward. An attitude that unites passion to a worthy goal, instead of reckless actions.
