PRO-CAR celebrates 31st PNP Ethics Day
The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR), under the leadership of PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, Regional Director, proudly commemorated the 31st PNP Ethics Day, which coincided with the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony, held at the Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on January 6, 2025.
During the program, PBGEN PEREDO, JR led the awarding ceremony, recognizing five deserving PRO-CAR personnel for their exemplary services and notable achievements, underscoring the commitment of the organization to excellence and integrity.
In his message, the Regional Director emphasized the significance of upholding the principles enshrined in the PNP Ethical Doctrine. He urged the men and women of PRO-CAR to internalize these values and consistently apply them in their duties.
“Let us continue to provide responsible and ethical service to every citizen, ensuring that each operation we undertake is guided by the principles of integrity, professionalism, and respect for human rights,” PBGEN PEREDO, JR said.
This year’s Ethics Day celebration, with the theme “Serbisyong may Integridad at Pananagutan Tungo sa Ligtas at Mapayapang Pilipinas,” was celebrated simultaneously across all PNP offices nationwide, showcasing the organization’s unified commitment to ethical service and integrity, and serving as a meaningful reminder for all PNP members to steadfastly adhere to the ethical standards and values that define the organization.
PRO-CAR nets over P1.2M worth of illegal drugs in weeklong drug ops
The weeklong anti-illegal drugs campaign of Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR), conducted from December 30, 2024, to January 5, 2025, resulted in the seizure of marijuana plants valued at PhP1,240,000.00.
During this campaign, PRO-CAR conducted three marijuana eradication operations that led to the confiscation of 5,000 pieces of Fully Grown Marijuana Plants and 2,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops with a total Standard Drug Price of PhP1,240,000.00.
The most significant operations took place in Benguet, where the Cabalyero Cops of Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) seized marijuana plants worth PhP640,000.00, and in Kalinga, where the Lumin-awa Cops of Kalinga PPO confiscated marijuana plants valued at PhP600,000.00.
These accomplishments highlight the firm dedication of PRO-CAR to combating illegal drugs and maintaining peace and security across the region.**
