The Civil Service Commission (CSC) invites government workers, fitness enthusiasts, and the running community to join the 2025 nationwide Fun Run on 7 September 2025. The event aims to raise funds for families of civil servants who died in the line of duty.
Participants may choose from 1K, 3K, or 5K race categories.
Held in celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), the Fun Run promotes health and wellness in the public sector and supports the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani (PLBi) Program. The PLBi honors fallen civil servants by providing their families with a one-time financial assistance of PHP 100,000, a plaque of recognition, and scholarship grants.
To add color and excitement, each CSC Regional Office will host a Servant-Hero Mascot or Cosplay Competition, showcasing creative portrayals of government workers as modern-day heroes. Agencies are encouraged to send one official representative to participate in their region’s competition.
In 2024, over 36,000 runners from government agencies participated in the benefit run across 16 regions. CSC hopes to surpass this number in 2025, continuing its mission to promote solidarity, service, and a wellness culture in public service.
Details on venues, registration, and guidelines will be announced via the official CSC Facebook page at facebook.com/civilservicegovph and the PCSA microsite at csc.gov.ph/pcsa2025.**
