PRO CAR ARRESTS TOP MOST WANTED PERSON AND NINE OTHER WANTED INDIVIDUALS IN ONE DAY MANHUNT OPS
In line with employing enhance managing police operations under the 7 points Agenda of the Acting Chief, PNP PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ, JR, the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region arrested an individual listed as Top Most Wanted Person (TMWP) and nine other wanted individuals in separate operations conducted across the region on September 1, 2025.
The most significant operation was the arrest of a 30-year-old- male, listed as the Number 8 TMWP at the Provincial Level for the 3rd Quarter of 2025, for the crime of Statutory Rape in relation to Republic Act (RA) 7610 of the Special Protection of Children Against Child abuse, Exploitation, and discrimination conducted by the joint operatives from the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), and 1st Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) of Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) together with the 1504th Maneuver Company (MC) of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB 15) in Brgy. Zone 4, Bangued, Abra.
Meanwhile, in Benguet, three other wanted individuals- a 41-year-old male wanted for Other Deceits, a 27-year-old male wanted for failure to attend for a case of Reckless Imprudence resulting in Damage to Property were arrested in Brgy. Pico La Trinidad and a 25-year-old male wanted for Grave Threat and Slight Physical Injuries was arrested in Brgy. Camp 3, Tuba by the joint operatives of La Trinidad MPS, Tuba MPS, Itogon MPS, Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Unit (PIDMU) and PIU of Benguet PPO.
In Mountain Province, two other wanted individuals were also arrested. A 38-year-old male wanted for Violation of PD 705 or the Revised Forestry Code was apprehended in Brgy. Lagan, Sabangan while a 47-year-old male wanted for Violation of Section 7 (4) of RA 9175 (Chainsaw Act of 2002) was apprehended in Brgy. Kayan West, Tadian. These operations were successful due to the joint efforts of Sabangan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Tadian MPS, 1502nd MC, RMFB15, PIU and PMFC of Mountain Province PPO, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Mountain Province Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU), Regional Intelligence Unit 14 (RIU 14).
Additionally, in Apayao, a 30-year-old male wanted for Swindling (Estafa) was arrested by operatives of Calanasan MPS of Apayao PPO in Brgy. Poblacion, Calanasan. Wjile a 29-year-old male wanted for violation of Sec. 5(A) of RA 9262 was arrested by the joint operatives from Kiangan MPS, PIU, 1st Ifugao PMFC, Asipulo MPS and Tinoc MPS of Ifugao PPO together with the RIU 14 in Brgy. Hucab, Kiangan, Ifugao.
In Kalinga, a 27-year-old male wanted for Slight Physical Injury was arrested by the joint operatives of Pinukpuk MPS, PIU, PDEU and 1st Kalinga PMFC of Kalinga PPO, 1503rd MC RMFB15, City Intelligence Unit (CIU) of Baguio City Police Office (CPO), RIU 14, Regional Intelligence Division of PRO CAR and CIDG Kalinga PFU in Brgy. Apatan, Pinukpuk.
In Baguio City, a 43-year-old male wanted for Theft was arrested by the joint operatives of Police Station 7, City Investigation and Detective Management Unit and CIU of Baguio CPO in Brgy. Kayang Extension.
All suspects are now in the custody of their respective operating units for documentation and proper disposition.**
