VEHICLES FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY – The City Government of Baguio received six utility vehicles from the European Union–Philippines Green Economy Project through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) during a ceremonial handover on December 1, 2025, at Baguio City Hall in support to the circular economy initiative of the LGU through the “Pansanopen Tayo” program, which aims to strengthen plastic waste reduction, collection, and recycling efforts. The ceremonial handover was attended by Dr. Marco Gemmer, Head of EU Cooperation, Mr. Tsve Svilenov, EU Programme Manager, Dr. Knut Otsby, UNDP Resident Representative ad interim, Mayor Benjamin Magalong, represented by Ms. Samantha Hamada, Chief of Staff of the City Mayor’s Office, Vice Mayor Faustino Olowan, members of the City Council and other city officials. ** Ariel Biala/Ramia Yezza de Mesa
