I wanted to highlight his article with the feedbacks of Reynald Yawan and Mdme. Lita Molitas-Colting to our article on corruption through infrastructures the other week. But the moment we got to the office , we found out there was no internet service so I could not dig out the feedbacks to quote from. What else is new? If there was, that would have would have meant improved infrastructure.
Yes, pero para tayong sirang plaka always shouting out bad public utility services and yet nothing is changing. Public utility companies are always fast in disconnecting services but are too slow in reconnecting or in improving their service
Are our leaders doing anything about his? No. So come election time we should vote into office new faces who can really usher in change.
But I digress. Anyway, Mdme. Lita talked about some infrastructure that never got used for what they were intended for as they practically they never got finished for that. In a country responsive to the needs of its citizens such revelation in the mass media would have triggered an investigation at the instance of officials. No need for a formal complaint.
If nothing happens regarding what ws revealed as aforesaid, then the Benguet officials are sleeping on the job. They should be voted out of office.
They should not require to be formally informed about what is being complained about. For They should be monitoring the pulse o the feedback of the people. Such are readily available in media outlets or in social media platforms.
As to the feedback of Reynald Yawan for such politicians to be exposed, the same is easier said than done. When exposing anomalies, it should be done the way a lawyer does, complete with pieces of evidence. Otherwise, you might find yourself in the receiving end. Politicians might sue you. Ikaw na nga an gumagawa ng maubti, ikaw pa ang idedemanda.That is the irony.
Problem is we are very busy. We cannot be spending our tme gathering evidence. It should be the politicians who should have their backs on the wall. It is them who should be exerting the effort to be searching for things to do for the good of the people.
For that, they should be following the mass media if they really meant well being in office.
