The 12th Gong Festival featured the performances from the diverse culture and traditions of the different provinces here in the Cordillera. They exhibited their passion for their culture as well as their skills in playing the gongs and performing the traditional dances. Aside from the group performances, the community dance welcomed everyone to join and honor the traditions. The event held at the Melvin Jones grounds on Sunday October 6, 2024, with the theme “Gongs for Peace: A Harmony of Heritage and Ancestral Reverence” is in celebration of the Indigenous People’s Month. **RMC PIA-CAR
