In Baguio City, police officers of Loakan Police Station 4 (PS4) conducted a road clearing operation along the San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish Church, Loakan Elementary School and Mil-An National High School in Brgy. Loakan Liwanag, Baguio City, on July 26, 2023.
According to Loakan PS4, the strong wind and heavy rainfall caused by Tropical Storm #EgayPH caused the big pine tree to fall on the said road.
Police officers, together with personnel from the Tactical Operations Group 1 of the Philippine Air Force and other volunteers, were immediately deployed to remove the fallen tree that obstructed the road.
As of press time, road clearing operation is still ongoing, while one lane is passable to all types of vehicles. **PRO COR-PIO
