BAGUIO CITY, March 19 (PIA) — Eight graduates of the Pines City Colleges are in the top 10 of the recent Respiratory Therapist board examination.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 294 out of 467 passed the Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Respiratory Therapy in Manila, Baguio, Davao, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this March 2021.
PCC had a passing rate of 95.24 with 20 out of its 21 examinees making it. Eight landed in the Top 10 led by Keren Taca Safawil in the top 2 spot with a rating of 86.50, followed by Yana Lecery Bawalan Degay in top 3 with 86.00 rating.
Other topnotchers include Devorah Roxas Sab-it in top 5 with an 82.25 rating, Ava Kristine Valdez Urayenza ranked No. 6 with 85.00 rating, Charis Atluna Banagyo in the top 7 with a rating of 84.75, at No. 8 is Gaius Andrew Gavino Jacinto with an 84.5 rating. Tied at No. 9 are Gabrielle Amber Satur Balao and Nicolei Andrew Etrata Dela Cruz with a rating of 84.25.
The Commission on Higher Education – Cordillera congratulated the school for their successful performance and in producing eight board topnotchers.
“CHED-CAR congratulates the Pines City Colleges for their overwhelming performance during the March 2021 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination. PCC! You made us so proud,” CHED-CAR said in a social media post.
The PRC announced that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line from April 12 to April 16, 2021. Passers should log in to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only),two pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps and one piece short brown envelope.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The PRC said that date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be announced later. **JDP/RMC- PIA CAR
