Only one week has passed when full time face to face classes started in public schools and the effect can be felt all around. There is that dynamism in the atmosphere. The urgency to get going. To do something that will result in more income. Yes, kids need money everyday. For their fare to go to school and for their food and snacks. Any parent who is not risking everything to raise for the needs of his kids is either crazy or have a totally empty skull.
Finally, efforts at economic recovery are somehow gaining traction. It might be time to start a business but the proper identification of which one to get into must cause some burning of the midnight oil. Spending a lot of time answering that question is a must. If you arrive at the right one, you will prosper. A little deviation from the right one, or even a very thin miss, might lead to a precipice where your initial capital would be lost with no hope of recovery.
In difficult times like these, there will always be tempting offers of alleged lucrative opportunities. Most of them are scams especially those that are too good to be true. Such are always not true. Sample, just look what is coming in to your phone or Facebook or internet address.
Never forget that there is a science to business. Never rely on a gut feel. If you are not a professional businessman, rely on someone you can trust who had been in the business you are eyeing. Learn from the lessons he experienced. Do not rely on theoretical explanations not backed by experiences on the ground.
To repeat for emphasis, there are so many glib talkers who will entice you to get into easy-money schemes or get-rich-quick plans. There are no such things. It is always the plans that involve hard work and would take time to blossom which will last long. They will take some time to gain customers or clients but these will endure.
Then there are the naysayers who are always discouraging. Listen to what they say, but remain positive in outlook. Always rely on reason, common sense. When the time comes to make a decision, don’t be emotional in taking the plunge.
Yet there is no such a thing as a risk-free decision in life. Take risks but only after a lot of reasoning was done.
We wish you luck during these difficult times.**
