The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reminds all government officials and employees to file their Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) on or before 30 April.
Republic Act No. 6713 requires all public officials and employees to file a SALN, which must contain a true, detailed, and sworn declaration of assets, liabilities, net worth, and financial or business interests.
All public officials and employees in national and local government, state universities and colleges, and government-owned or -controlled corporations (GOCCs), with or without original charters, must file the SALN. The requirement does not cover those serving in an honorary capacity, as well as laborers and casual or temporary workers.
The CSC requires officials and employees to file their SALN within 30 days after assuming office; on or before 30 April of every year thereafter (reckoned as of 31 December of the preceding year); and within 30 days after separation from the service. Officials and employees who assume office during the current year do not need to file a SALN on or before 30 April of the same year.
Under CSC Resolution No. 2500632, promulgated on 25 June 2025, or the Omnibus Rules on the SALN, declarants shall use the prescribed 2025 SALN Form and may attach additional sheets when necessary. The rules also allow digital filing and submission of SALNs.
For inquiries on updated guidelines and proper accomplishment of the SALN, the CSC provides a dedicated email address: salninquiry@csc.gov.ph
.Each public official or employee must submit three original copies of the SALN to the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) or its equivalent. Agencies may allow minor adjustments to the electronic format, provided all required contents remain intact and the declarant signs or initials all pages.
The CSC also reminds Human Resource Management Officers to submit collated SALNs to the proper repository agency on or before 30 October of every year.**
