Ambasing Elementary School celebrated Indigenous Peoples’ Month with a Poster Slogan Contest and Essay Contest on the theme “Proud to be an Igorot Child”. The first place winner of the Poster Slogan contest was Hailey Rayne Bagni, followed by Jeffyble Orayen, 2nd place and James Eban, 3rd place. For the Essay Writing Contest, the first place winner was Xaber Dhaniele Likigan, 2nd place was Chandy Kyle Bosaing and 3rd place is Shantel Mae Kilongan.
A joint activity with the Provincial Health Office through Dr. Penelope Domogo, this activity was coordinated and facilitated by teacher Mrs. Ana Bayoya, also the School PTA coordinator. She involved the families of the pupils to come up with the entries so that this activity also served as an opportunity for the families to affirm their rich indigenous heritage.** PAD
