The Civil Service Commission-Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR) is now accepting applications for the March 12, 2017 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) until January 13, 2017.
The scope of the examinations will be on the following areas, both in English and Filipino: vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, analogy, logic and numerical reasoning.
Both levels of the examination, Professional and Sub-Professional will have general information questions on the Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713); peace and human rights issues and concepts and environment management and protection. Examinees are advised to review on the mentioned areas for better chances of passing the examinations.
There are four (4) test centers for the March 12, 2017 examinations, namely, (1) Tabuk City, Kalinga; (2) Bangued, Abra; (3) Bontoc, Mountain Province; and (4) Baguio City.
Interested applicants may file their applications at the Regional Office at Wagner Road, Military Cut-Off, Baguio City or at any of its provincial/field offices. Requirements include four (4) pieces identical passport size picture with handwritten name tag and signature over the printed name of the applicant; a photocopy of any valid identification card and filing fee of P500.00.
Those who will pass the examinations will have better options in terms of employment in the civil service since they possess one of the minimum requirements thereof, which is career service eligibility. **
