BAGUIO CITY — Be a PSHS scholar!
The Philippine Science High School System (PSHS) is currently accepting applications for the National Competitive Examination (NCE) for incoming Grade 7 students for School Year (SY) 2019-2020.
A Grade 6 elementary pupil with a final grade of 85% or better in Science and Mathematics and/or is at the top 10% of his class; a Filipino citizen with no pending or approved application as immigrant to any foreign country; born on or after August 01, 2004; have at least a satisfactory rating in his/her Character Rating for SY 2017-2018; not have taken the PSHS NCE previously; and is in good health and fit to undergo a rigorous academic program is encouraged to submit their applications on or before September 14, 2018 to the nearest PSHS campus.
A qualified applicants must bring two copies of a fully accomplished application form, two identical recent 1×1 ID pictures, non-refundable test fee of 100 pesos for those from private schools; a certified true copy of report card for SY 2017-2018; and a certification that the child belongs to the upper 10% of the class if final grades in Science and Math are below 85%.
The NCE, a scholastic aptitude test which is a part of the screening process of the PSHS system, is set for October 20, 2018.
