Meanwhile, the city’s team to the Philippine National Games (PNG) 2023, held simultaneously with the BP games and at the same venues, placed third with a total of 123 hard-earned medals (34 gold, 41 silver, 48 bronze), Rillorta disclosed.
The Baguio team came close behind the delegations of Pasig and Mandaluyong.

Both the BP and PNG delegations were led by City Sports Office chief Gaudencio Gonzales, Jr. who congratulated the athletes and coaches for their remarkable feat that has not only brought honor to themselves and their families but to the entire city of Baguio as well.
He also thanked the city government led by Mayor Benjamin Magalong for its all-out and continued support to local athletes and coaches.**Gaby B. Keith
