Beauty as I know it
A word that fathoms and dances
with grace,
From the clasp of a hand,
or a warm embrace.
A single word that sparks
within many,
Creating a tune so fast yet steady.
From up above our eyes do sink,
Covered with a palm it
becomes brink.
The light still makes its way,
Forever shining sunshine’s rays.
It can dance, sing, and even sting,
Such eyes that shine,
mine can’t even bring.
Lost in such a face, my eyes lock in,
With the key thrown, meeting
was a sin.
Living in such a world that
sinks in darkness,
It may not be bad to have
light to harness.
Life, sadness, happiness, and anger,
Will still live in the moments that linger.**
