This month marks the 33rd foundation anniversary of Benguet National High School (BeNHS), the biggest high school in the province of Benguet with activities and events that its students, employees, alumni, and other stakeholders can participate in.
Bearing the theme, “Moving Forward with Sustained Resilience and Excellence,” the month-long activities will start off with the launching program on January 9, followed by a series of cleanup drives (Project SHALOS) and Brigada Eskwela Plus. A mini-sports tournament is also spread throughout the month until February which includes darts, billiards, basketball exhibition, run for a cause, and bike for a cause.
The highlight of the celebration will be on January 27 and 28 where an ecumenical service, school congress, search for school ambassadors through the Mr. and Ms. BeNHS pageant, and awarding of service and SPOT awardees will be observed on Friday, and then a parade and the program proper will be held on Saturday as the schools’ foundation day.
Other activities and events include the alumni homecoming on January 20, a gallery exhibit, landscaping contest and a singing competition for employees, among others.
BeNHS cordially invites the students, present and former employees, alumni, parents, and the community to participate in the celebration of the milestones of the school.
For the complete calendar of activities and other concerns, stakeholders may visit the school at Stockfarm, La Trinidad, Benguet, its website (www.benguetnhs.ph), or its official Facebook page (DepEd Tayo Benguet National High School), or get in touch through the school’s contact number (424-4897) or email account (305133@deped.gov.ph).
