Just came from the doctor yesterday. Good for me, bad for you. The latter phrase was if you wanted to see me get a stroke or a heart attack. My BP is going down, but not yet so down. Not yet normal. Hopefully, I am getting there.
No new prescriptions, but I was advised to get a covid booster shot. Thinking about it, I really should go. But not Sinovac, please. That made me a walking dead for about two months. My blood pressure went really high and could not be brought down. Long story short, I survived, but what a risk.
I expected that to be the same case with another lawyer, a public prosecutor, who was known to be suffering also from bad hypertension—which is how doctors call “high blood.”
But it was the opposite. His malady got better. His vaccine though was Pfizer, not Sinovac.
Just the other day, somebody’s hypertension also got worse because of the vaccine– it was Astra Zeneca.
In fairness to Sinovac, a taxi driver who got that same Chinese jab said it was OK with him. In fact, his other malady, an enlarged prostate appeared to have benefitted from it. His urination got better, as he said, so the enlargement might have subsided.
From inquiries, I was informed that the booster jabs available now are not Sinovac. With that, I guess I have to take the chance. We will see the effects if I get a Pfizer or some other western vax. So I am getting ready.
Monday, the 27 wll be the day.
If you noticed, the past many weeks, I was brain dead. I even missed writing an article or two. Well, that is life—not sugar and spice and all things nice everytime.
For those who are quite reluctant getting a third shot, I will be writing the effects on me.
As the gamblers would say, roll the dice and take your chances. For those with “high blood” like me there appears to be no choice. Covid loves to kill those with high blood as it thickens the blood causing its pressure to go sky-high. Thus, an acquaintance victim related that the doctors had to inject her with a lot of blood thinner.
So it is “damned if you do, damned if you don’t.” Might as well get it over and done with. If it is one’s time, it would be time.**
