Bauko, Mountain Province– PhP 1.8 million in checks were distributed to 20 farmers’ organizations here last January 24, 2017 by the Cordillera Highland Agricultural Resources Management Project 2 in a turnover ceremony at the municipal gymnasium.
Mayor Abraham B. Akilit, in his message delivered by his secretary, encouraged the responsible utilization and observance of accountable fund management of the assistance . He called on the “og-ogbo” principle of every group so that projects and undertakings are done collectively, efficiently and successfully.
Participating in the event were Engr. Beverly Pekas, the Provincial CHARMP Coordinator, Mr. Walter Dalang, Bauko MPDO, Ms. Carolyn Wandalen, the municipal agriculture officer and representatives of community Financial Institution Mr. Roy Busay and Ms. Andrea Docadoc.
