Being beside you, the space is thin,
But the gap is wide made by me,
The distance tempts me to go closer,
Yet you don’t pull me in but go farther.
Why do I act this way?,
I myself, do not know,
But I know what I cannot offer,
The space is open for others to cover.
Sadness envies the joys that’ve passed,
It yearns for the day where you and I laughed,
Laughed at the smallest things life had to offer,
I’m lost in thought, deep within mental blunders.**
