BAGUIO CITY – The Civil Service Commission –Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC-CAR) will conduct a “Blood-Letting Activity” on September 11, 2018 at its office at Wagner Road, Military Cut-Off, here starting 8:30 a.m. in partnership with the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.
In a letter to Mayor Mauricio Domogan, CSC-CAR Dir. Marilyn Taldo said the activity is part of the region’s celebration of the 118th Philippine Civil Service Month Anniversary with the theme, “Lingkod Bayani: Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makabayan”.
“With the CSC spearheading the celebration, this year’s activities are meant to remind us, civil servants, of our important role in exemplifying love of God and country, building a citizen-centric government and promoting malasakit in public service for our number one client – the Filipino people,” her letter states.
Taldo is requesting the city government’s support in the endeavor by sending participants to the blood-letting event as potential blood donors as partners of the CSC in promoting good governance, healthy lifestyle and social responsibility consciousness.**gaby keith
