In celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) this September, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) will conduct the Trabaho at Serbisyo Hatid sa Bayan 2026 in various locations across the country, bringing government employment opportunities and frontline public services closer to Filipinos.
An enhanced version of the Government Job Fair held annually in September, the Trabaho at Serbisyo Hatid sa Bayan integrates recruitment activities and government services in convenient and accessible venues across 16 regions nationwide.
Anchored on the PCSA subtheme Puso sa Serbisyo, the initiative promotes a more accessible, efficient, and citizen-centered approach to public service by providing a one-stop platform for both jobseekers and clients of government agencies.
Aspiring public servants may engage directly with participating government agencies to learn about vacant positions, recruitment requirements and procedures, and undergo preliminary screenings.
Among the participating agencies that are set to offer plantilla and/or Job Order or Contract of Service positions are the Philippine Army, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Education, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Energy, Bases Conversion and Development Authority, and Provincial and Local Government Units.
In addition to employment services, other government agencies may offer selected frontline services that can be completed or substantially processed on-site. These may include the blocking of phones and SIM cards and licensing services through an online platform; registration to government services and updating of members’ records; legal assistance on housing-related inquiries; and issuance of free voter certification, among others.
The CSC encourages all interested and qualified applicants to participate in the activity, including persons with disabilities and members of indigenous cultural communities. The Commission reaffirms its commitment to inclusivity, welcoming applicants regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, consistent with the principles of equal opportunity in government recruitment.
The initiative is expected to expand access to government employment opportunities, particularly for applicants from underserved communities, while promoting faster and more responsive public service delivery as the country celebrates 126 years of civil service.
