LA TRINIDAD, Benguet(PIA) — Residents of the scenic town of Kabayan are encouraged to avail of the services and programs to be provided by the provincial government of Benguet in the municipality on June 15, Thursday.
Governor Melchor Diclas will lead the team from the provincial government in the conduct of the caravan which brings services and programs of the government closer to the people for this quarter.
The activity is in line with the HEALTHIER Benguet development thrust of the Governor which stands for Health, Education, Agriculture, Livelihood, Tourism, Human Resource, Infrastructure, Environment, and Responsive Governance.
The Governor has been tirelessly pushing for the implementation of various programs and activities that will improve the quality of life of the people of Benguet.
Thru the caravan, the provincial government in coordination with Kabayan municipal government headed by Mayor Florante Bantales Jr. will bring various services, programs and activities for the people of the town and other nearby areas.
Among the services to be provide include medical and dental services, paralegal services, real property tax collection, and distribution of patents.
Anti-Rabies vaccination and deworming, free spay and neuter of dogs and cats, and swine artificial insemination will also be provided. Farmers and other interested residents will also be given free seedlings.
The different offices of the provincial government will also to introduce their respective offices and present their functions, programs and services that could be availed by the public.
The provincial government launched the HEALTHIER Benguet in Kibungan, Benguet in March this year .The quarterly caravan is targeted to be conducted in the municipalities.**JDP/RMC-PIA PIA-CAR
