As humans, we have this uncanny ability to build up resistance to anything that seems repulsive at first. Take a household where a chronic farter resides, it is only natural for the others to get used to that repulsive smell. After all, where else can the wife go when she is already in the house? There is no place to escape. The only solution is to build up that resistance and may it be a quick one to build up. The smell becomes routine and part of daily living within that household.
Exams for students are reliable things to make them shriek. Especially if your test schedules line up in perfect straight days within a week. No one gets through that week unscathed. The only choice is to go straight at hell week and make it back.
Many students within Baguio are already in vacation mode but trust your universities in keeping the streets lively by making sure students are still found there going to class.
Baguio already started hosting some tourists, but not everyone is in a lively mood. Add in the traffic and that makes students sweat not only from the heat but how late they already are. Thankfully, all weeks pass eventually. Whether in tatters physically or mentally, students are still here. There was no choice after all but to run straight at the issue.
It is by going through these types of situations though that one can learn and grow by miles. Confronting discomfort is never easy but when we go through them we can look back and see that we have progressed. The sight behind us, filled with hardships and tests, is a sight to be proud of considering where we are now in life.
The building blocks of a person can always be seen behind them. The blocks are hard and they need to be in order to build up a great person.
It won’t be long now till students join the rest in vacation paradise. It won’t be long now till all the building blocks are in place and we are set to fly.
Through hell and back, all those who came back alive gets fired up. It is always a surprise to find out what we are capable of. Students get put through the wringer for the whole day but they’ll be back tomorrow just in time for another early class.
People are tougher than we think. It is because we are tough that we also need to be mindful enough to lay down once in a while. Ambitious and careful students can prepare to go through hell once more and again come back alive.
