The Joint Inter-Agency Task Force (JIATF) Kennon conducted an inspection of the critical sections along Kennon Road to address the Metropolitan Baguio City, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba, Tublay Development Authority (MBLISTTDA) Council’s call urging the JIATF Kennon to address road safety concerns and fast track the repair and rehabilitation activities, to eventually open the road stretch.
The inspection was led by JIATF Chairperson and Office of Civil Defense – Cordillera Regional Director Albert Mogol with reps from the different member agencies, local government units of Baguio City and Tuba, Benguet on Friday, December 8, 2023.
To date, Kennon Road remains open only to Kennon Road residents and essential travels and for emergency purposes only.** RMC PIA-CAR
