It is already time for the municipality of la Trinidad to reach its long time goal of becoming a city.
According to La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda, “we are supported by Benguet Congressman Ronald Cosalan. Last Thursday because we have given him updates on the population since he was asking for the population and income of the municipality”.
The municipality is preparing the data and other requirements for cityhood.
Attorney Miller Quintin Jr., La Trinidad Municipal Administrator, also said that La Trinidad passed two of the qualifications to make the municipality a city.
One reason the municipality has not become a city yet is the land area. As to income there is no problem about that but the population has yet to be updated.**
