TADIAN, Mtn. Prov.– The Ayyoweng Festival of this year has been launched last January 30, 2019 centered on the theme Epika Tako of the barangays of this town.
It was known that the 19 barangay festivals are scheduled from the months of February to December 2019.
Barangay Kayan West will be the first to stage their barangay fiesta on the second Wednesday of February.
Barangays Lubon, Bana-ao, Batayan, and Dacudac will cap the festivals on December 31-January 1, 2020.
During the launching, the concepts of Ayyoweng, the activities, and the mechanics were presented for early dissemination and compliance of the barangays.
The 11th Ayyoweng Di Lambak Di Tadian will be conducted on February 26 – March 3, 2019. But the main day will be March 2 with the cultural and street dancing performances and the bahagketball, etc.
The following day will be the Achievers Day wherein the achiever awardees will be recognized.
Mayor Anthony Wooden informed and reminded the Itadians that the 11th Ayyoweng had just been launched and calls on them to participate and support the affair as usual.
Activities will start with the “Anap di Bangan Di Tadian” on February 27. The following day will see the opening of the agro-industrial fair, then sports games.
On March 1, 2019, there will be a parade in review, ground demonstrations, and ball games and parlor games. In the evening, Rev. Fr. Sammy Maximo will cap the day with a concert.
