A new chapter of my life has begun to unfold,
As moments become memories I shall dearly hold.
Each day felt like a step to a new beginning,
Where I left the nest
of a past ending.
Relief and farewell blended like coffee,
Such a bitter, yet sweet
moment;
Friends, lovers, and families each sympathize their
happiness,
With pictures that hold their flooding memories.
But why does regret
invade my brain?
Is it romance, or
unwavering pain?
Just like the sky, it ponders like rain,
Although it does make me
go insane,
Moving up still felt like it was all in vain.
