BAGUIO CITY- – The Philippine Military Academy (PMA), the premiere military school in the country, has set its entrance examination on a Sunday, August 25, 2019 in various testing centers nationwide.
A candidate for admission in the entrance examination should be a natural born Filipino citizen, physically fit and of good moral character, single and have not sired/given birth to a child, at least 5 feet in height, at least 17 years old and not a day older than 22 years old on 1 June 2020, at least senior high school grade with a point average (GPA) of 85%, (grade 12 students may apply provided they will graduate from Senior High School before 1 June 2020), and has no administrative or criminal case.
The examination covers Algebra and Geometry, grammar and composition, reading and comprehension, verbal and numerical reasoning, and pattern analysis.

Successful applicants will be full scholars of the government with free college education with a well-rounded curriculum They receive stipends while studying, and guaranteed a progressive military career as an officer in the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy or Philippine Air Force.
The education and training of a cadet in the academy is characterized by the acronym CAMP which stands for Character, Academics, Military Skills and Physical Fitness. These serve as the pillars in developing well-rounded cadets who will become future officers and leaders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines(AFP). The CAMP is the blueprint of the present curriculum being implemented in the academy.
