Arrested for estafa
At about 2:45 PM of April 24, 2017, at Bonglo and Sayangan, Atok, Benguet, a joint Municipal Tracker team of La Trinidad MPS and personnel of Atok MPS, arrested May-ann Osting Bastian (Bonglo), 24, single, self-employed, and Rachelle Bangkili Osting (Sayangan), 22, single, encoder, both natives and residents of above stated addresses by virtue of warrants of arrest issued on Nov. 15, 2016 by Hon. Maria Ligaya V. Itliong-Rivera, Pairing Judge of RTC Branch 60, First Judicial Region, Baguio City docketed as Crim. Case No. 3998-R for estafa or for violation of Art. 315 Par. 2(a) of the Revised Penal Code with recommended bail of Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (400,000.00) each issued on November 15, 2016.
Theft of motorcycle parts
A case of alleged theft of motorcycle parts transpired at about 4:00 AM of April 24, 2017, at Aurora, Poblacion, Mankayan, Benguet. The victim, Jerico Yamoyam Pacsi, 25, single, farmer and a resident of Pukitan, Paco, Mankayan, Benguet personally reported the incident at Mankayan MPS.
Investigation disclosed that at about 3:00 PM of April 23, 2017, the victim parked his red Kawasaki Rouser 135 motorcycle with plate number 140402, at above stated place and proceeded to his boarding house. In the morning of April 24, 2017 at about 6:00 AM, he discovered that the battery, carburetor, front tire, driver & passenger seat, side cover, and photo copy of CR and OR were stolen by unidentified suspect/s. Case is still under investigation.
Robbery with violence
At about 5:25 PM of April 24, 2017, Darwin Viray, security guard of BGH- MC informed PS7, BCPO thru phone that a male person was rushed to the Emergency Room having a deep laceration on his neck. Responding police investigators were able to interview the victim, Jonathan Batore Pistola, 45, gay, with postal address at No. 74 Happy Homes Old, Lucban, Baguio City.
Investigation disclosed that the victim, after drinking with friends (gays) at Dap- ay Bar in La Trinidad, Benguet, decided to proceed to Susan’s Bar located at Agrix Building, Bokawkan Road, Baguio City at around 2 AM of same date. While there, they befriended a male person. After their drinking session at about 5 AM, the two took a taxi cab and went to Watari Glamorosa Beauty Saloon located at Rajah Soliman Street, Baguio City owned by Pistola. Upon arriving there the victim told his male companion to sleep at the sala. At about 6 AM without any apparent reason, the suspect attacked Pistola and slashed his neck using a sharp instrument. The latter lost consciousness but came to at around 3:30 PM and sought help from a certain Aunt Andrea who assisted him ride a taxi to seek immediate medical attention at BGH-MC. Item missing from the victim is a cellphone.
The responding investigators went to Susan’s bar for possible identification of the suspect and was able to talk to the bar’s manager. The CCTV footages was being reviewed and enhanced. Case is under investigation.
Highland cops nab two female
drug pushers in Baguio City
Two female drug pushers were successively arrested in a buy-bust operation in Baguio City after selling suspected shabu to undercover policemen of Station 1, BCPO and members of the Drug Enforcement Agencies in CAR.
At the outset of the operation, a lady caretaker was collared along an alley at Lourdes Extension, Baguio City in the afternoon of April 24, 2017. Said suspect was identified as Maritess Puntawe Enriquez, 42, native of Santa Ana, Metro Manila, and presently residing at Lourdes Extension, Baguio City. Recovered from her possession were one transparent sachet containing suspected shabu including the buy bust money amounting to Php500.00 and a cellular phone.
Another woman was nabbed in the night of the same day along Naguilian Road, fronting Saint Vincent Gym, Campo Filipino Barangay, Baguio City. Suspect was identified as Mary Genny Lee Quinto Dizon, 49, and presently residing at North Central Bayan Park Aurora Hill Baguio City. Suspect yielded nine heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, buy-bust money amounting to Php500.00 including the boodle money amounting to Php1,000.00, drug paraphernalia, one cellular phone, and a shoulder bag.
Both suspects together with the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Regional Crime Laboratory Office, Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet for drug test and laboratory examination while the appropriate cases are being prepared for filing in court.
PROCOR arrests 5 suspects and seizes P0.5 Million worth of marijuana bricks and shabu
Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) seized a total of Php537,000.00 worth of illegal drugs and arrested five drug transporters and a drug pusher yesterday.
Personnel of Sadanga Municipal Police Station, Mountain Province PPO, intercepted four suspects along the national road particularly at Sitio Ampawilen, Sadanga, Mountain Province in the afternoon of April 25, 2017.
Suspects were identified as Robin Ayco Jacob, 25, businessman, a resident of San Francisco, Biñan, Laguna, Pedro; San Antonio Gonzales, 48, Marvin Pastora Martir and Lister Ayzlei Pangilinan Allada all natives and residents of Biñan, Laguna.
They were aboard a MAZDA vehicle and they came from Kalinga Province going towards Bontoc, Mountain Province when they were captured.
Police seized 10 rolled marijuana leaves and 10 bricks of marijuana leaves weighing a total of 17.4 kilos with a dangerous drug board value of Php435,000.00.
On the other hand, a woman was nabbed in a buy-bust operation at her residence in the morning of the same day. A lady drug pusher was identified as Norlyn Abdulmadid Demnatang, 19, residing at Purok 5, Ferguson Road, Baguio City.
Seized from her were 3 sachets of suspected “shabu” weighing 17 grams with a dangerous drug board value of Php102,000.00, digital weighing scale, and two ladies’ wallet containing several IDs and receipts.
Police are conducting further investigation to determine the possible supplier of the suspects.
