Report on stabbing incident
At around 11:45 PM of September 23, 2017, a cell phone call was received by Tinoc MPS from Tinoc District Hospital informing that one Emmanuel Robles y Dulnuan 23, married, farmer, native of Banao, Lagawe, Ifugao and a resident of Tuking, Ap-apid, Tinoc, Ifugao was brought to the said hospital due to stab wounds. When responding personnel were at the hospital, another person was brought in by a concerned citizen for stab wounds also and identified as Carlos William 34, single, farmer, native of Ambaguio, Nueva Vizcaya and a resident of Nalatang, Ap-apid, Tinoc, Ifugao who was allegedly stabbed by Emmanuel Robles.
Initial Investigation disclosed that at around 11:30 PM of September 23, 2017, while Carlos William is cooking inside his house, Emmanuel Robles who was allegedly under the influence of liquor suddenly entered and without any apparent reason stabbed him with a knife prompting him to grapple with Emmanuel. When Carlos had a chance, he picked a kitchen knife and stabbed Emmanuel then ran and sought help from his brother-in-law who brought him to Tinoc District Hospital. Likewise, the responding neighbor of Carlos also brought him to the same hospital. The attending physician referred Mr. Carlos William to Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital at Abatan, Bauko, Mtn. Province while Emmanuel Robles was referred to Panopdopan District Hospital, Payawan, Lamut, Ifugao for further treatment. Case is under follow-up investigation.
Cadaver
On September 22, 2017 at about 3:30 PM, Atok MPS received information regarding a cadaver in an advanced state of decomposition discovered in a ravine below the Baguio-Bontoc Road in Km 39 Abiang, Atok, Benguet.
The cadaver was discovered by Satur Ponayen, 57, married and Tony De Guzman, 50, married, both residents of Sitio Boacao, Abiang, Atok, Benguet. They discovered the cadaver because of the foul odor which was positively identified as Geronimo Toyaoan. A SOCO team processed the scene and the nvestigation is still in progress.
Robbery
Last September 25, 2017 at abou 5 AM, Mark John Bacani Manao, 20, single, a resident of Purok 3, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga and Myrianne Daligdig Basacoy, 27, single and a resident of Purok 1, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga personally reported to Tabuk CPS that they were robbed by three unidentified men along a street at Bulanao, Tabuk, City, Kalinga.
Investigation showed that while Manao was driving his motorcycle along Purok 6, Bulanao, Tabuk City when three unidentified men flagged him down and one of the suspects pointed a steel tube on him and the other two suspects forcibly took away his Black Berry Leaf cellphone and P280.00 cash then fled. Likewise, Ms.Bassacoy averred that at around 8:07 AM of the same date, while she was walking along Purok 5, Bulanao, Tabuk City, she was suddenly choked by two men with the use of a steel tube and forcibly took her Huawie cellphone.
Responding personnel of Tabuk CPS were able to arrest the three robbers who were identified by the victims as Mark Anthony Jensen Manangbao “aka” Plongplong, of legal age, single, resident of P-6, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga; Luie Duguiang Listo, 17, years old, single, out of school youth, resident of Dangoy, Lubuagan, Kalinga; and Ricky Sagasag Amangao, 19, years old, single and resident of Dangoy, Lubuagan, Kalinga were all brought to the Sub-station of Bulanao for documentation.
Vehicular accident
On September 28, 2017 at about 12:30 PM, a vehicular accident transpired along Sitio Tapak, Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet wherein a red truck containing cement registered in the name of Camilo Trucking with plate number RLU 260 driven by Jessie Masda Pucay, 30 years old, married, and resident of Labilab, Loacan, Itogon, Benguet fell into a ravine.
Investigation disclosed that the vehicle was heading towards Baguio City when the vehicle fell into a 300 meter deep ravine. The helper identified as Jenar Carias Etop, 30 years old, single, and resident of Labilab, Loacan, Itogon, Benguet was injured when he fell from the truck but managed to climb and ask for help from a passing vehicle. He was brought to Sto. Niño Hospital, Philex Mines, Tuba, Benguet for medical treatment and was later transferred to Baguio General Hospital. Responding personnel of Itogon MPS, the rescue team of Philex Mines, and some barangay representatives of Brgy. Ampucao found the vehicle and the driver who was already presumed dead due severe head injury. According to Mr. Etop, they were under the influence of liquor during the incident.
Missing person
On September 28, 2017 at around 10:30 AM, Bert Vidal Dazon, 61 years old, married, and resident of Purok 2, Namillangan, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao personally appeared at Alfonso Lista MPS and reported that his adopted son Wendel Santillan Decoy, 14 years old, Grade 4 pupil at the Namillangan Elementary School, and resident of same place was missing.
Allegedly, on September 15, 2017 at around 11:30 AM, Wendel Decoy spanked the stomach of his classmate that prompted him not to go home because he was afraid that he might be scolded. On September 20, 2017, he was seen under a Tamarind tree in Purok 2, Namillangan, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao by a student not knowing that he was then a stow away. Diligent efforts are being exerted to locate said minor.**
