Parricide
At around 3:15 AM of December 12, 2017, Thelma Solar Follo appeared at the Conner MPS and reported a crime of parricide. Allegedly, the incident happened at around 6:30 PM of December 11, 2017, wherein the victim was John Paul Lucon Molina, son of the 19 years old, Grade VII student at Cupiz Elementary School while the suspect was his father, Roberto Follo Molina Sr., 41 years old, married, jobless and both residents of Sitio Masiko, Brgy. Caglayan, Conner, Apayao.
Investigation disclosed that the suspect together with Joseph Solar Bayaua were having a drinking session inside the residence of the suspect. The suspect got mad when his son consumed all their food for dinner. Then he told his son to go and get calamansi. That was the time when he hit the victim’s head with a piece of lumber. After the incident, the victim had a severe headache and started vomiting. The victim was rushed to Conner District Hospital at around 1:00 AM but was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician, Dr. Geraldine Durian due to intracranial bleeding.
Responding personnel of Conner MPS conducted a hot pursuit operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
Theft
On December 13, 2017 at about 3:45 PM, an alleged theft transpired at Minerside, Ucab, Itogon, Benguet. The arrested suspect was identified as Klen Sangdaan Esteban, 23, single, miner, and resident of Pedlisan, Maddela, Quirino Province. The victim was identified as Judy Mayocyoc Alicnas, 37, married, business woman, and a resident at the crime scene.
The witness, Mrs. Cristina Dangkew, a resident of the place of incident, saw the suspect coming out from the store of the victim. The victim shouted that her OPPO cell phone and cash amounting to more or less Php400.00 was stolen.
The arrested suspect was brought to Itogon MPS for documentation. The stolen items were recovered from him.
PROCOR charges 7 for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act
In the morning of December 8, 2017, a Toyota Hi-ace van with licensed plate no. OX 8152 driven by Brenson Bador was intercepted at Brgy. Bangad, Tinglayan. Passengers were identified as Andrew Adem, 34, from Muntinlupa, Melvin Espina 23, from Binan Laguna and two 17 year old male minors from Alicia, Isabela.
During the inspection, 16 marijuana bricks, 16 bundled marijuana plants and other marijuana derivatives were found inside the vehicle.
The following day, four occupants of a Toyota Hi-ace van with plate number CQ 7050 bound for Tabuk City driven by Jeson A. Taguitag 39, a resident of Bado Dangwa, Tabuk City Kalinga were also arrested at Sitio Malasin, Poblacion, Tinglayan, Kalinga. They were identified as Joshua Makinano Simeros, 27, Jude patrick Mantiezon Amandy, 20, both residents of Malate, Manila; and Sedrick Cerin Caranta, 20, resident of Sampaloc, Manila.
In the course of inspection, 11 elongated packs of dried marijuana leaves wrapped with masking tape; three (3) zip locks containing dried marijuana leaves; and two (2) bamboos containing dried marijuana leaves and paraphernalia were found inside the backpacks of the passengers.
Cases against them are for filing.
