35 Wanted Personalities Arrested in PRO CAR’s Weeklong Manhunt Ops; 58 Municipalities Record Zero Crime
A weeklong anti-criminality operation across the region yielded significant results as the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) apprehended 35 wanted persons, while 58 municipalities recorded zero crime incidents from July 4 to 11, 2026.
Based on the data from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division, the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) and the Baguio City Police Office (CPO) both recorded the highest number of arrests, with 12 wanted persons apprehended each, followed by Abra PPO with five arrests, Ifugao PPO with three arrests, and Apayao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province PPOs with one arrest each.
Of those arrested, five individuals were identified as Most Wanted Persons, consisting of three listed at the Regional Level and two listed at the Municipal Level.
Meanwhile, intensified police visibility and strong community cooperation contributed to a peaceful week across the region, with 58 municipalities reporting zero crime incidents. Specifically, zero crime incidents were reported in 25 municipalities in Abra, nine municipalities in Mountain Province, eight municipalities in Ifugao, seven municipalities in Apayao, five municipalities in Benguet, and four municipalities in Kalinga. Moreover, Police Station (PS) 5, PS 8, and PS 9 of the Baguio CPO also reported zero crime incidents.
During the same period, PRO CAR also achieved a Crime Clearance Efficiency of 81.82% and a Crime Solution Efficiency of 78.18%, reflecting its sustained efforts in crime response and resolution.

PRO CAR Arrests Nine Regional Top Most Wanted Persons in Five-Day Manhunt Ops
In a major accomplishment in its sustained campaign against wanted persons, the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) successfully arrested wanted individuals listed as Regional Top Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) during a five-day intensified manhunt operations conducted from July 9 to 14, 2026.
According to reports submitted to PBGEN ERICSON D DILAG, Regional Director of PRO CAR, the operations resulted in the arrest of all Regional Top MWPs, composed of five wanted persons from Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO), two from Mountain Province PPO, one from Baguio City Police Office (CPO), and one from Apayao PPO.
Among those arrested were the No. 1 Regional Top MWP, wanted for Murder; the No. 2, wanted for Qualified Rape and Rape Through Sexual Assault in relation to Republic Act No. 7610; the No. 3, wanted for Qualified Rape of a Minor and two counts of Statutory Acts of Lasciviousness; the No. 4, wanted for Qualified Rape; the No. 5, wanted for Statutory Rape; the No. 6, wanted for Qualified Theft; the No. 7, wanted for Violation of Section 5 of R.A. 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act; the No. 8, wanted for two counts of Statutory Acts of Lasciviousness; and the No. 9, wanted for Statutory Acts of Lasciviousness.
The successful arrests were made through the coordinated efforts of the operating units, intelligence personnel, and force multipliers, reflecting PRO CAR’s commitment to tracking down wanted persons and ensuring that they are brought before the courts to face the charges against them.
All arrested individuals are now under the custody of their respective arresting units for documentation and proper disposition before being turned over to the appropriate courts.
