A Career of Honor and Service: PRO CAR Pays Tribute to Retiring RIAS-CAR

The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) honored and expressed its heartfelt gratitude to PCOL FABIANO B SUDARIO, JR, outgoing Regional Director of the Regional Internal Affairs Service (RIAS)–CAR, during a tribute program held at the Multi-Purpose Center, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on August 28, 2026.
The program was graced by PBGEN JIM E TOMBOC, Deputy Inspector General of the Internal Affairs Service, and attended by PBGEN JULIO S LIZARDO, Deputy Regional Director for Administration of PRO CAR; PCOL FROILAND B LOPEZ, Acting Deputy Regional Director for Operations; PCOL ARNOLD D RAZOTE, Officer-in-Charge, Chief Regional Staff; members of the Regional Staff; personnel from PRO CAR and RIAS-CAR; and the family and friends of PCOL SUDARIO, JR, who gathered to witness this significant milestone in his life and career.
A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of PCOL SUDARIO’s years of dedicated and honorable service. He received tokens of appreciation from the various Provincial and City Internal Affairs Services in recognition of his invaluable contributions throughout his career. In acknowledgment of the important role of family in every police officer’s journey, his wife, Mrs. Mina Sudario, was likewise presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for her unwavering support and sacrifices throughout his years in the service.
In his message, PCOL SUDARIO, JR expressed his sincere gratitude to his family, friends, colleagues, mentors, and the men and women of RIAS and PRO CAR who became part of his journey in public service. He acknowledged their encouragement, guidance, and companionship throughout his years in the Philippine National Police PNP, which helped shape his career and made his years of service more meaningful and fulfilling.
The program concluded with a fellowship, marking not an end but the beginning of a new chapter for PCOL SUDARIO, JR. His retirement serves as a reminder that while a career in uniform may come to an end, the values, memories, and legacy built through a lifetime of dedicated service will continue to inspire those who remain in the line of duty.
Over P15M worth of illegal drugs confiscated, five drug personalities arrested in PRO CAR’S
weeklong drug ops
The relentless anti-illegal drug efforts of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) continue to yield significant results, with authorities confiscating more than P15M worth of illegal drugs and apprehending five drug personalities during operations conducted from August 24 to 30, 2026.
Throughout the weeklong drive, different units of PRO CAR conducted eight anti-illegal drug operations, leading to the destruction of 79,500 fully grown marijuana plants and the seizure of 9.59 grams of shabu, with a total Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PhP15,965,212.00.
These sustained operations also resulted in the arrest of five individuals involved in the illegal drug trade. Of those apprehended, two are listed as High Value Individuals (HVIs) and three as Street Level Individuals (SLIs).
The most significant accomplishments were recorded in Kalinga, where eradication operations by the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (PPO) led to the discovery and destruction of 79,500 marijuana plants with an SDP of PhP15,900,000.00.
This was followed by the Baguio City Police Office, which confiscated 9.02 grams of suspected shabu with an SDP of PhP61,336.00 and arrested two HVIs and one SLI during separate buy-bust operations.
Meanwhile, in Abra, the Abra PPO confiscated 0.47 grams of suspected shabu valued at PhP3,196.00 and arrested one SLI. Rounding out the operations, the Benguet PPO apprehended one SLI and seized0.10 grams of suspected shabu worth PhP680.00.
These accomplishments highlight PRO CAR’s commitment to eradicating the illegal drug trade in the region. Through sustained enforcement, strengthened collaboration with partner agencies and communities, PRO CAR remains steadfast in its mission to maintain a safer and drug-free Cordillera.**
