In his message, Director Torres expressed his gratitude for the integrity of the men and women of PRO Cordillera, which will contribute to the conduct of a peaceful BSKE 2023 in the region. He also reminded everyone not to forget the true significant participation during this coming election: to function in a fair and equal way.
“Our gathering here today is both timely and necessary. Timely, for we are invoking divine grace; necessary, in the sense that all of us need to be reminded that elections should not be attended with fraud or violence because this is the supreme manifestation of democracy. We are gathered here, for we are giving notice to everybody that we value this BSKE, and we believe this approaching political exercise is important for all of us as we will be exerting all our efforts to make it honest, orderly, peaceful, and credible. Thus, let us unite for this common objective, for, after all, we are all public servants”, Atty. Torres added.
