Over P16.8M Worth of Illegal Drugs Seized, 21 Drug Personalities Arrested in PRO-CAR’s Weeklong Drug Ops
As the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR) continues to intensify its efforts in the anti-illegal drugs campaign, over P16.8M worth of illegal drugs were seized and 21 drug personalities were arrested during the weeklong drug ops conducted across the region.
From January 13-19, 2025, a total of 49 operations were conducted by PRO-CAR operatives, leading to the confiscation of 70,855 Fully Grown Marijuana Plants, 1,500 pieces of marijuana seedlings, 20,133.70 grams of marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, 3.99 grams of marijuana kush, 55.73 ml of marijuana oil, and 23.94 grams of suspected shabu, with an overall Standard Drug Price of PhP16,817,406.43.
Additionally, the operations resulted in the arrest of 21 drug personalities, eight of whom were identified as High Value Individuals (HVI), while 13 were identifies as Street Level Individuals (SLI).
The most significant operations took place in Benguet, where the Cabalyero Cops of Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) seized illegal drugs worth PhP10,957,596.00 and arrested two SLIs, and in Kalinga, where the Lumin-awa Cops of Kalinga PPO confiscated illegal drugs valued at PhP5,697,000.00 and apprehended one HVI and one SLI.
Moreover, in Baguio City, the Napino Cops of Baguio City Police Office seized illegal drugs valued at PhP87,040.00, leading to the arrest of four HVIs and five SLIs, while in Abra, PhP36,488.00 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated and two SLIs were nabbed by the Abante Cops of Abra PPO.
Also, in Apayao, the Pasindayaw Cops of Apayao PPO seized illegal drugs worth PhP23,278.43 and arrested one HVI and two SLIs, and in Ifugao, PhP16,044.00 worth of illegal were confiscated and two HVIs and one SLI were apprehended by the Haggiyo Cops.

Four drug suspects fall in Anti drugs operation, over P76K worth of shabu seized
Four individuals were arrested and charged with violating Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, following the successful implementation of a search warrant in Barangay Irisan, Baguio City, this morning of January 19, 2025.
According to the report submitted to PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, Regional Director of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR), the arrested individuals were identified as four male suspects aged 40, 30, 38, and 36.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives from the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, City Drug Enforcement Unit, City Intelligence Unit of the Baguio City Police Office (CPO), Baguio CPO Police Station (PS) 9, and Regional Intelligence Unit-14. This successful effort resulted in the confiscation of 11.2 grams of suspected shabu, with a Standard Drug Price of PhP76,160.00.
Onsite inventory and markings of the seized evidence were carried out in the presence of the suspects and witnesses, adhering to legal protocols. Both the suspects and the confiscated items were subsequently transported to Baguio CPO PS 9 for documentation and proper disposition.
