BISOC CLASS
Patrolman Brueckner Baybay Aclopen who hails from Sagada, Mt Province, emerged as the top graduate among the 80 members of the Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) Class “MATALAS” after completing the course with an overall rating of 92.26 percent.
PROCOR’s Chief Regional Staff, PCOL JULIO S LIZARDO awarded the Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) to Pat Aclopen during their graduation rites held at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on February 2, 2023.
Other awardees were Patrolman Kevin Salinas who ranked number 2 with a rating of 91.82 percent, and Patrolwoman Pinky Tibaldo who ranked number 3 with a rating of 91.80 percent.
The program was spearheaded by PCOL LEON P TALLEO, the Chief of the Regional Special Training Unit-Cordillera (RSTU-COR); and attended by PLTCOL FERDINAND N OYDOC, the Chief of Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division (RLDDD); and other PROCOR police officers.
After 60 days of rigid training from December 2, 2022, to February 2, 2023, the 80 police trainees from the different units of PROCOR Successfully finished and graduated from the said course.
Of the 80 police officers, 46 came from Mountain Province Police Provincial Office (PPO), 22 from Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15), 10 from Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), and 2 from Abra PPO.
BISOC is a specialized training that prepares police officers to be highly effective and efficient in internal security operations as they will be equipped with different strategies in combating insurgency, criminality, and terrorism.
29 WANTED PERSONALITIES NABBED; 60 MUNICIPALITIES RECORDED ZERO CRIME INCIDENTS
Twenty-nine (29) individuals, including three (3) Most Wanted Personalities (MWP), were arrested as a result of the intensified manhunt operation conducted by PROCOR Cops from January 29 to February 4, 2023.
Based on the records from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) for the week, Baguio City Police Office (CPO) has recorded the highest number of arrests with eleven (11) wanted persons arrested followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) with eight (8) arrests; Ifugao PPO with four (4) arrests; and three (3) arrests each for Abra PPO and Kalinga PPO.
Of these arrested individuals, three (3) were listed as Most Wanted Persons (MWP): one (1) at the Regional Level and two (2) at the Provincial Level.
Meanwhile, as a result of intensified police visibility and campaign against criminality, 60 municipalities in the different provinces of the region and two (2) police stations in Baguio City remain peaceful as PROCOR recorded zero crime incidents during the same week.
Zero crime incidents were recorded in the 24 municipalities of Abra; eight (8) municipalities each in Benguet and Ifugao; 9 municipalities in Mt Province; six (6) in Kalinga; and five (5) in Apayao.
Further, Kennon Road Police Station 8 and Marcos Highway Police Station 10 also recorded zero crime incidents out of 10 police stations in Baguio City. **
