Over P12M Worth of Illegal Drugs Seized, 10 Drug Personalities Arrested in PRO CAR’s
Weeklong Drugs Ops
The unwavering efforts of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) in its campaign against illegal drugs resulted in the seizure of PhP12,601,804.00 worth of illegal drugs and the arrest of ten drug personalities following the conduct of 20 separate operations from March 3 to 9, 2025.
The weeklong campaign yielded significant results, including the eradication of 43,750 fully grown marijuana plants and the confiscation of 30,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops and 37.03 grams of suspected shabu, with an overall Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PhP12,601,804.00.
Additionally, these operations resulted in the arrest of ten drug personalities, one listed as a High Value Individual (HVI) and nine as Street Level Individuals (SLIs), demonstrating the effectiveness of PRO CAR’s targeted approach in eradicating illegal drug activities in the region.
The most significant operations took place in Benguet, where the Cabalyero Cops of the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) seized illegal drugs worth PhP10,654,584.00 and arrested one HVI and five SLIs. Also, the Lumin-awa Cops of Kalinga PPO eradicated marijuana plants with an SDP of PhP1,800,000.00.
Furthermore, in Abra, the Abante Cops of Abra PPO confiscated suspected shabu worth PhP113,220.00 and busted two SLIs, while the Napino Cops of Baguio City Police Office arrested two SLIs and confiscated suspected shabu with an SDP of PhP34,000.00.

26 Wanted Persons Arrested in PRO CAR’s Weeklong Manhunt Ops; 56 Municipalities Record Zero Crime Incidents
The intensified anti-criminality campaign of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) from March 2 to March 8, 2025, led to the arrest of 26 wanted individuals, while 56 municipalities across the region remained crime-free, with zero crime incidents recorded.
According to the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division of PRO CAR, during the weeklong manhunt operations, the Baguio City Police Office (CPO) led with the highest number of arrests, apprehending 15 wanted persons. This was followed by the Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) with seven arrests, and the Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province PPOs, each with one arrest.
Out of the 26 arrested, 19 were categorized as other wanted persons, while seven were classified as Most Wanted Persons (MWP). Among the MWPs, one was listed at the Provincial Level and six at the Municipal Level.
Meanwhile, the heightened police presence significantly contributed to maintaining peace and order across the region, with 56 municipalities and four police stations (PS) of the Baguio CPO recording zero crime incidents during the period.
Specifically, zero crime incidents were recorded in 20 municipalities in Abra, nine municipalities in Ifugao and Mountain Province, six municipalities in Apayao, Benguet, and Kalinga, as well as seven municipalities in Apayao. Additionally, PS5, PS6, PS8, and PS9 of the Baguio CPO also recorded no crime incidents.
In his message, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, commended the operatives and reiterated the commitment of PRO CAR in ensuring peace and order, stating, “These successes are a testament to the unwavering dedication and collaboration of our law enforcement officers in ensuring the safety and security of the public. We will continue to work diligently to eliminate criminality and create a safe environment for everyone in the region.”
The commitment of PRO CAR to law enforcement was further highlighted by its remarkable performance, achieving an 83.33% crime clearance rate and a 92.59% crime solution efficiency, reflecting the dedication and effectiveness of PRO CAR in upholding peace and order in the region. **
