PROCOR awards deserving personnel and a unit
Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) awarded deserving personnel and a unit during the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at Masigasig Grandstand Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad Benguet on September 13, 2021.
PBGEN PASCUAL G MU?OZ, director of the PNP Crime Laboratory, led the awarding of medals and presentation of certificates to the awardees assisted by PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, PROCOR regional director, and members of the command group.
Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to PCOL Filemon C. Porciuncula Jr. and PMAJ Alex D Biadang Jr. for their contribution in the successful execution of the Deed of Donation of lot with an area of 439 square meters for the construction of the Ifugao Provincial Crime Laboratory Office.
Same award was awarded to PLTCOL Rowena F. Canlas and PCMS Voltaire M. Aoay for their invaluable service rendered in the conduct of surprise random drug tests on 1,764 PNP personnel.
Also, PMAJ Angeline B Amangan and PMSg Reynaldo G. Tarapen were awarded with Medalya ng Kasanayan for their professionalism, expertise, devotion and commitment to duty that resulted in the identification of a decapitated male cadaver found on November 12, 2020 at Sitio Gulon, Ambassador, Tublay, Benguet.
In line with the PNP’s Intensified Cleanliness Policy, Certificate of Recognition was given to Regional Internal Affairs Service for being the cleanest office of the week, the award was received by PCOL Jesse E. Perez, director, PROCOR RIAS.
PROCOR welcomes director of PNP crime lab
Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet- Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) welcomed the director of the PNP Crime Laboratory, PBGEN PASCUAL G MUÑOZ JR, as the guest of honor and speaker for the Distinguished Visitors Program at Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on September 13, 2021.
Greeted by the vibrant sound of gongs and graceful dances of the men and women of PROCOR, PBGEN MUÑOZ JR was received by the Deputy Regional Director for Operations, PCOL JOHN CHUA, during the Traditional Arrival Honors Ceremony.
The program was hosted by PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the Regional Director of PROCOR.
In a statement, PBGEN MUÑOZ JR said that “being a public servant is not just a title, but a lifelong responsibility, thus everyone should deliver services beyond what is expected from them”.
He further encouraged the men and women of PROCOR to internalize the Police Officer Pledge especially the first line, ‘ I will love and serve God, my country and people’ and always display Service, Honor and Justice as police officers wherever they will be assigned.
PBGEN MUÑOZ JR, as the new Director of the PNP Crime Laboratory, committed to continue providing quality services with integrity to all the PNP offices and other agencies by providing field work, scene of the crime operations, forensic laboratory services, criminalistic training and research through its provincial offices.
After the ceremony, PBGEN MUÑOZ visited the Regional Crime Laboratory Office (RCLO) to check the facilities and personally thank the personnel for their commitment and their contributions in solving crimes in the region.
PROCOR Officers’ Ladies Club conducts barangayanihan in Sagada
Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – As part of their commitment to continuously support the PNP’s Mission and Programs, the PROCOR Officers’ Ladies Club (OLC) headed by their adviser Ms. Bong Lee visited Sagada, Mtn. Province and conducted various BARANGAYanihan activities on September 9, 2021.
Ms. Bong Lee, together with the Mountain Province PNP Spouses Association and party attended the Mass at Mount Carmel, Sagada, Mountain Province officiated by PLTCOL JONATHAN L CHY and Father Marcial Castañeda.
Subsequently, they also attended the opening program of the bloodletting activity held at the 4th floor Municipal Hall, Sagada, Mountain Province.
During the program, Ms. Bong Lee donated boxes of face masks, medicines, alcohol and fruit bearing tree seedlings contributed by PCOL PETER TAGTAG; PLTCOL ANNA LIZA T MACAPINLAC; stakeholders and other private individuals,
These were given to Dep-Ed and will be distributed to the different schools in Sagada.
The OLC also initiated a tree planting activity where various fruit bearing tree seedlings were planted at the vicinity of Saint Mary the Virgin, Anglican Church.
PNP OLC-PROCOR is a club composed of the wives of police officers that aims to support various PNP advocacies and provide assistance to the community by supporting the different BARANGAYanihan programs and other activities.**
