Random drug tests
for PROCOR cops negative
PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE announced that the results of the 241 PROCOR cops who were subjected to random drug testing on May 17, 2022 were negative.
As part of the Internal Cleansing Program (ICP) of the Philippine National Police, the Regional Forensic Unit-Cordillera (RFU-Cor) is regularly conducting unannounced and random drug testing on PNP personnel to check if there are members of the organization who are involved in any form in the use of illegal drugs.
According to the reports submitted by PCOL NERINO B DACIEGO, the Chief of RFU-Cor, 143 personnel of the Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and 31 personnel of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of Benguet PPO were subjected to random drug testing which yielded negative results.
Meanwhile, in Abra PPO, 29 personnel were tested while twenty (20) personnel were tested in Mountain Province PPO. Moreover, in Apayao PPO, eighteen (18) personnel were subjected to such tests.
All urine specimens collected from the different PPOs yielded negative results for Methamphetamine Hydrochloride and Marijuana, both dangerous drugs
YMF gets support from RD Cordillera
PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, on Wednesday, expressed his full support for the plans and programs of the Youth Mobile Force (YMF), a youth organization established by the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) for the promotion of peace and other advocacies of the PNP.
In a fundraising event on May 18, 2022 at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, PBGEN LEE expressed his full support and appreciation to the YMF for their eagerness to advance the welfare of the youth in the Cordillera region.
He has also lauded the efforts of the YMF for initiating a fund-raising activity dubbed “BUNDLES OF JOY, Furbabies for a Cause”, a raffle draw for the rehoming of four (4) Alaskan Malamute puppies.
PBGEN LEE; PCOL BYRON TEGUI-IN, Chief of RCADD; and PCOL JOSHUA FALEJANDRO, Force Commander of RMFB15 have assisted the YMF in the turn-over of Php 25,000.00 worth of school supplies to the YMF Mtn. Province Chapter intended for 200 there.
Further, four beneficiaries in Mountain Province will be receiving Php 7,000.00 cash assistance each for their medical needs and Php 50,000.00 was given to the YMF President, Ms. Ruth Roniela Reyes as an additional fund for their future activities.
Grateful to the initiatives of YMF, PBGEN LEE has donated Php 50,000.00 from his personal funds to the YMF as an additional fund for the different youth-based activities of RMFB15 and YMF.
