12 drug personalities fall, over P3.9M worth of MJconfiscated
Nine drug carriers and three pushers were successively arrested and Php3,898,650 worth of dried marijuana leaves, and nine sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated.
In Ifugao, seven individuals identified as Jerick Villacorte Crisostomo, 36, painter and a resident of Mata Extension, Tondo, Manila; Reniel Dela Cruz Espinosa, 23, student; Daniel Urbano Gavino Tejada, 22, both residents of Taguig City; Titus Jacob Tallada, 20, student, a resident of Sta. Mesa, Manila; Joshua Pagador Dacillo, 19, student; Reynaldo Tinagan Jerez Jr., 19, both residents of San Jose, Del Monte, Bulacan; and a 17 year old male student who is a resident of Brgy Maligaya, Fairview, Quezon, City were arrested in a checkpoint operation at TOPCOP, Viewpoint, Banaue, Ifugao on the afternoon of July 21, 2019.
Suspects were on board a Coda bus coming from Sagada, Mountain Province bound for Cubao, Quezon City when the bus was flagged down in a checkpoint . During inspection, fourteen (14) bricks and four (4) tubular dried marijuana leaves with a dangerous drug board value of Php2,015,880.00 were confiscated that led to the arrest of the suspects.
In Kalinga, two drug carriers identified as Delfher Jay Nvarrete Abancia, 24, and Zamier C Galo, 22, Grade 11 student of Malate Catholic School, both residents of Adriatico St., Malate, Manila were nabbed in a checkpoint operation at Talaca, Agbannawag, Tabuk City, Kalinga on the evening of the same day. They were on a Victory Liner bus coming from Tabuk City, Kalinga bound for Manila. During inspection, 15 bricks and stalks of dried Marijuana leaves, one pack of elongated rolls of dried marijuana leaves and one medium sized plastic bag containing crushed dried marijuana leaves and stalks with an estimated value of Php1,882,770 were confiscated.
On July 19, 2019, Joel Dacayo was arrested in Brgy. Calaba, Bangued, Abra while Ramil Ong, 50, native and resident of Lower Fairview, Baguio City was arrested at Ma. Pucay St., Guisad Central, Baguio City. One (1) heat sealed sachet containing suspected shabu; one (1) plastic with ziplock containing suspected dried marijuana leaves; one (1) rolled aluminum foil; Php2,000.00 marked money; and cash money amounting to Php632.00 were confiscated from Dacayo. Whereas, three (3) pieces of heat sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, Php1,000.00 buy bust money, and Php2,000.00 boodle money were also confiscated from the possession of Ong.
Another pusher identified as Charles Kimmayong was arrested at Sitio Bisang, Amganad, Ifugao who was caught in possession of five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia on July 21, 2019.
All arrested suspects were duly charged in court.
Four gamblers and two drug pushers fall
Six individuals were arrested by the police for violation of the anti-illegal gambling and anti-illegal illegal drugs over the past days.
Recently, four drivers were arrested after they were caught in the act of playing card games inside D.A.M.C. Sari Sari store, Interland gasoline station at Bokawkan Road, Cresencia Village, Baguio City in the morning of July 17, 2019.
They were identified as Edward Macongay Basilio, 62, and a resident of Bermuda Hills Subdivision, Baguio City, Tyron Sanchez Scott, 29, resident of Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet, Jhonny Chalupang Pelingen, 34, resident of Purok 5 Pinsao Pilot, Baguio City and Joseph Dameslay Enbat, 38, native of Sadsadan Bauko, Mtn. Province, who are all drivers.
Evidence confiscated from their possessions were a table, chairs, 52 pieces of playing cards and Php405.00.
On the other hand, two drug dealers were nabbed after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu to one operative who acted as poseur buyer in a buy-bust operation,.
Arrested drug pushers identified as Bahji Innado Ordoña, 19, single, native of Tinoc, Ifugao, and a resident of Hangar Market, Baguio City, was arrested along the alley of Veterans Headquarters Camp Henry T. Allen, Baguio City on the evening of July 17, 2019 while Fernando Caasi Sunga Jr aka Jay, 30, porter, a native of Bolinao Pangasinan and resident of KM 6, La Trinidad Benguet was nabbed at Avatar Computer Shop, T Alonzo St., Baguio City in the morning of July 18, 2019.
Confiscated from Ordona was one (1) sachet of suspected shabu, five sachets of dried marijuana leaves and stalks, q cellular phone, cash money amounting to Php500.00 and Php500.00 boodle money.**
