PROCOR honors 15 PNP retiring uniformed personnel
As part of the tradition, 15 uniformed personnel who will retire from the PNP service were honored here at Police Regional Office Cordillera, Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet after long years of dedicated service.
They are composed of two Commissioned Police Officers with the rank of Police Lieutenant and Police Captain and 13 Non-Commissioned Police Officers with the rank of Police Executive Master Sergeant (PEMS), Police Chief Master Police Sergeant (PCMS) and Staff Master Sergeant (PSMS).
Kalinga PPO dominated the retirement honors todays as 7 of the 15 are from there led by PCPT RENATO S MIGUEL, with, PEMS Reynaldo C Balluran, PEMS Jimmy D Dong-as, PEMS Oliver B Gac-oy, PEMS Ambrocio S Gammad, PCMS Artemio P Liagao and PSMS Ferdinand A Alunday. Abra PPO produced the 2nd highest number with 4 retirees led by PLT JESSIE P GAPUZ, with PEMS Carino W Mariano, PCMS Manolo Y Daria and PCMS Amelito P Turqueza. PEMS Cesar T Tudlong and PEMS John N Ngidchi are from Mtn. Province ; PEMS Donato DS Fernandez from BCPO; while PEMS Luciano Beredo has been assigned with the Regional Headquarters Service Unit.
They received Medalya ng Paglilingkod or PNP Long Service Medals and plaques of appreciation .
Hanging bridge falls causing injuries
Last November 20, 2019 at around 7:40 AM in Betwagan, Sadanga, Mtn Province, personnel of Sadanga MPS responded on a reported collapsed hanging bridge resulting in injuries to Franlin Mackhong, Rudy Yakak, Angara Kayang-o, Aneo Estiman, Fanao Lmisem, Monger Timakcheg, and Armand Agayyong. They were brought to Bontoc General Hospital.
Investigation disclosed that the victims were crossing the bridge when it suddenly collapsed.
