Sablan players are Benguet’s Volleyball Queens. Sablan bagged the gold in the first Governor Melchor D. Diclas Volleyball Cup. They brught home Fifty Thousand Pesos cash prize and Fifty Thousand Pesos for their chosen beneficiary. The final games were againt the municipality of Kapangan after winning game 2 and forcing Game three at 1-1. Sablan marched to Game 3 with a no-lose record. Fueled by the thundering cheers of the Sablanians, Sablan Team outshined Kapangan in three sets with their well-placed and vigorous spikes.
