BONTOC, MTN. PROV. – For being declared as Man of the Philippines-Ambassador in the national competition at the Vivere Hotel, Alabang, Muntinlupa, Metro Manila last November 29, 2018, and other high sounding feats, Basilio Falisong Jr. was honored in a home coming program in Sadanga, Mountain Province last December 17, 2018.
Falisong traces his roots to Belwang, Sadanga but was raised in Baguio City.
Aside from being adjudged as the Man of the Philippines-Ambassador, he was also the Man of Social Media, Man of Community, PTOP Choice Award, People’s Choice Award, and Man of the Crowd.
In his talk during the program that was preceded by a parade with the participation of municipal and barangay officials and municipal employees, Falisong urged every one “to be a dreamer, be an achiever, and to achieve whatever you dream through the heart”.
As part of his crown and rewards, he was named the Ambassador of Yamang Bukid, a producer of organic drinks and foods; endorser of Essentia perfumes; and as endorser of Century Tuna products.
He will soon be in a tough modelling competition in Italy.
Governor Bonifacio Lacwasan Jr. extended his congratulations to Falisong for his feat. He further said that all those who made Mountain Province proud in various events shall be given recognition during the Lang-ay Festival come April 2019.
It is to be noted that Eduard “the Landslide” Folayang, Danny Kingad, and others of the mixed martial arts Team Lakay, all from this province, gained honor and recognition for being champions.
Sadanga Mayor Jose Limmayog wished Falisong, fondly called JayR, good luck in his further steps towards the fulfillment of his dreams.
