LAMUT, Ifugao – – The Ifugao State University (IFSU) Board of Regents is now accepting applicants for university president vice Dr. SerafinNgohayon whose second term has ended last month after leading the university for eight years.
Ngohayon is the first president of IFSU by virtue of Section 9 of Republic Act 9720, the law converting the former Ifugao State College of Agriculture and Forestry into a state university known as IFSU.
An applicants must be a natural-born Filipino citizen and at least 35 years old and not a day older than 61 years old from actual date of birth at the time of application; holder of an earned doctoral degree from a reputable higher educational institution; have a proven track record as an administrator for at least five years in public or private tertiary level institution and must not have been convicted of any administrative offense or of any crime involving moral turpitude.
Documentary requirements include formal application letter addressed to the Chairperson, Commission on Higher Education (CHED), C.P Garcia Ave., UP Campus, Diliman, Quezon City; detailed curriculum vitae and certified supporting documents; proposed vision, mission and development goals for the university in not more than five pages; certificates/clearances; birth certificate; medical certificate of physical fitness; result of neuro-psychiatric examination and duly accomplished Civil Service form 212 made under oath.
Said requirements must be submitted to either Merelyn G. Dela Cruz, Secretariat, Search Committee for Presidency, CHED Central Office or Julian Nangpuhan II, Secretariat, Search Committee for Presidency, IFSU, Lamut, Ifugao on or before 5:00 pm of January 31, 2018.
The search committee for the presidency reserves the right to validate and verify the authenticity of documents submitted and the right to accept or reject any document that it deems to be questionable.
