BAGUIO CITY – The search is on for the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) in the country.
Now on its 15th year, the search is conducted by the National Youth Commission and the TAYO Awards Foundation Inc.
It is open to all groups, organizations, clubs and societies whose membership and leadership are composed of at least five members who are below 30 years.
The project entry to be submitted must be a recently concluded project or an ongoing program and should be under the following categories: culture, arts and heritage; education and technology; environment, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation; health, well-being and human development; and livelihood and entrepreneurship.
Entries will be judged based on the following criteria: impact of the project on the stakeholders; harnessing the spirit of volunteering and citizenship (involvement of the community, especially the youth in planning, implementing and evaluating the program); creativity and innovation (introduction or application of new technologies, uniqueness of service or product, promotion of unique or indigenous ways or materials; sustainability; and effective use of resources.
Deadline of submission of entries will be on Sept. 8.
