This piece is because we are still in anniversary mood.
The kinds of writing I encounter at the helm of this small paper. That should have been the title but I left it hanging to give it some element of suspense.
What I enjoy most are articles which are freely flowing without disconcerting gaps or curve balls in between. These are logical in a lyrical way. Not only are these easy to read. Most of all, they are enjoyable. You don’t exert any effort at all to finish them and you end up wishing there was more.
Most often, these are turned in by women. And every now and then by men who have that artistic energy in them.
The reason? Writing is an art. It is about beauty of expression. Since women, in general, have better access to the feminine energy in them or in this universe, they usually write better.
Everybody has feminine and masculine energies in them. Men are supposed to have better access to the masculine energy. The best though is when one can tap both kinds of energies in a balanced way.
Despite my being physically weak since childhood when I was always being rushed to the clinic, I am psychologically very masculine. It explains in a way my being awkward in most things. Physically, I only find some minimal grace when driving a vehicle. Sadly, I will always remain a frustrated car racer as despite my age, I have yet to develop the sixth sense to know what kind of gradient or curve is ahead around the bend. Or to have a relatively accurate estimate of distances just by mere glance. Whether it is the space needed to overtake at high speed or an inch required to safely back up in a foggy night.
So, in order for me to come up with a readable article, it is always a struggle for me to summon the feminine energy within. A good fresh environment helps, or nice music, or a good view. Or a nice recollection of the past with pleasant thoughts about what could have been.
When the feminine energy kicks in the words flow. Not just dripping.
Otherwise, I think in a linear way which can be boring, so is the writing. The positive aspect of that is I never had a problem with figures or math, or the sciences, or anything involving logic. The problem happened when I overslept or didn’t care to go to class, or to do my homework. It is called laziness.
Thus, readily I understood what a lady scientist said that she could not write a good article yet she is a topnotch scientist.
I have also seen really good writers whose pieces would make me envious. The downside as shown by quite a number of them is the impracticality of their way of thinking. They usually could not readily see how things will turn out in the world, or the weakness in a business proposal, or in a plan of action.
We could go on and on only to arrive at the moral (lesson) of the human story. That we all have our individual weaknesses and strengths.
And the fact that karma is real. The universe, or God if you will, always leads us to the place or situation best suited for us.
