A team from the Provincial Tourism Office is undertaking validation and documentation of tourism spots starting from the eastern municipalities of Paracelis and Barlig in coincidence with their Kakarayam Festival and the Fortan Festival, respectively.
The team led by Leonila Milagrose Malla-ao, the designated Provincial Tourism Officer, will personally step on the spots and sites before promotional efforts by them will be done in the tri-media, including the social media.
The team is now in Paracelis and will be in Barlig on June 19 and 20, 2017.
Before the end of this year, all the municipalities, including the western side, shall have been visited by the team to validate and document the tourism sites.
It is the mandate of the office to conduct site validations and documentation for the personnel to have first-hand knowledge and information regarding the tourism spots, access, and other details.
These data are needed, especially by those who are manning the newly established Provincial Tourism Information and Assistance Center at the provincial capitol.**Roger Sacyaten
